What Cookware Is As Good As Magnalite?

One growing favorite in Acadiana as an alternative to Magnalite cookery is McWare.

Meatball Fricassée Meatballs (mix the following and form into meatballs) 2 lbs ground beef (I used a deer/pork mix) 1 egg 1/4 C breadcrumbs A few dashes of Worcestershire 1-2 T minced garlic 1/2 C frozen seasoning blend Cajun seasoning Brown the meatballs in a little oil on medium heat. Remove the meatballs and add 2 chopped onions. Let the onions soften while you scrape the bottom of the pot. Add your meatballs back in the pot and cover them with water. As the sauce starts to simmer, add 2 heaping tablespoons of dark roux. Season with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder. Simmer on medium/low for at least an hour. (Taste for seasoning and add more water if the gravy reduces too much) Add chopped green onions 15 minutes before serving.
